Do y'all think Saban will end up leaving Alabama for the University of Texas?

Here are some thoughts on why he will.

1. MONEY, Texas will easily pay Saban 7 million dollars to coach for them. Texas has an endowment of $6 billion. Alabama has an endowment of $630 million. Saban wants to be the biggest and the best? Everything is bigger in Texas.

2. He has 3 titles: Saban is under the type of "special pressure" where anything less than an undefeated season and BCS national title is considered a failure.

3. To be better than Bear: Saban will never be considered better than Bear Bryant as long as he is coaching the Crimson Tide. Saban will always be second-best while he's coaching in a Houndstooth shadow. But were Saban to go to Texas and win it all he would have national titles at LSU, Alabama and Texas. Saban would be however sacrilegious it is better than the Bear.

4. Longhorn Network: ESPN has partnered with Texas for the Longhorn Network, which has yet to establish itself. But imagine the possibilities? Saban could potentially have the Worldwide Leader of propaganda machines at his disposal.

5. AJ McCarron: Need any explanation? No.

6. Independence? The Republic of Texas may never secede from the Union, but the University of Texas could realistically secede from the Big 12 a conference it nearly killed following the announcement of its Longhorn Network. Missouri and Texas A&M took their balls to the SEC. While the Pac-12, Big Ten and SEC have grown stronger in numbers, the Big 12 has fallen behind. Texas could become the Notre Dame of the South.

7. No conference title game: Short of total independence, Texas still has an edge over any SEC team in that the Longhorns avoid a conference title game. Why play a pesky SEC East team when you can roll out the red carpet directly to the Final Four of the BCS? Less chance of injury, less chance of fluke loss, less chance period.

Just a side point, while I was watching the post game interview of the Alabama/ Auburn game. I think most people saw the end of the dynasty and the ending of Saban being the coach of the Tide. And I believe that wherever Saban goes the recruits will also. Who would not want to play for Saban?

Saban's already said he doesn't want to leave Alabama. Although I wish he would, so all the Bama "fans" can go away, it's not happening.

I personally think it's unlikely because he consistently has the top recruiting class at Alabama and keeps generating wins so why would he want to leave and try to build that back in Texas. Sure recruits could follow but they won't have as great of facilities as Alabama football players had.

Money is not a problem for Saban, he could get much more money from endorsements and the popularity of Alabama as opposed to Texas because wins make a team's legacy, not a history. History can make a name, but it won't if they're not winning like USC isn't as popular anymore although they were a powerhouse in the past.

Legacy-wise, I don't think Saban needs it either. Had he cared, he would've never went to the NFL. Plus, due to his bad success in the NFL, it has also hurt his chance of being the best ever because he couldn't transition to every level of football.

If he went to Texas, it's for himself, not for everybody else. He has three rings, has been an NFL coach, and one of the most known coaches out there today. What else does he have to prove?

If they were to offer him enough money I'm sure he'd think about it.

OK, given Sabans history, this is no guarantee. And there was the report that his agent, Jimmy Sexton, had been in contact with Texas. But thats what agents do. The single most important bit of information concerning Saban and his job came out last week when his wife, Terry, said that he is staying at Alabama. Nick listens to her. Alabama fans should, too. The rumor was that she was the catalyst for Sabans jump from LSU to the NFL, and that they make all decisions related to his career together. So when she says, Were not going anywhere, its most likely true.

I am an Oregon can and could care less about bama or any of the SEC but I would actually love to see wanna go to texas so he can turn them into national champions and we can see how great of a coach he is. I think if he wants to be the best he's gotta prove it with other teams
