Basically, an 11-year old student was suspended for pulling a BB gun on him and his sisters bullies to defend himself. The Mom will continue to defend what her son did. So what do you guys think of this?

I'm guessing there will be talk about gun laws now. Yes let's make more laws because criminals will follow them.

Even though I am against bullying. I find it amazing that kids think this kind of stuff will solve the issue. Yes you can say he's just a kid but, so are the bullies. I honestly wish they'd keep stuff like this out of the media because the full story is never given.

Damn right there will be. The government will be all over any story involving a firearm to back up their gun control laws (aka SCREW YOUR FREEDOM. But, guns don't kill people. People kill people.

Just wanted to share a glimpse of my political side.

Although it is tragic bring a BB gun to school and is in no way acceptable, this should of been confronted. Yet again, the kid was 11 years old although still should have told someone about this before it escalated to a 6 week suspension (a little much especially for the education he would be missing out, not that the government bothers funding educations with seriousness).
