Thanks Guys! I will be looking into an SSD. 840 EVO 120 is what I was gonna get, and I'm not sure how i have a 500W PSU i DID have a 750W, Estimated wattage with 16gb and SLI was 702W. I don't plan on upgrading for 4-5 Years, however the only things I'll do are maybe upgrade to i9 or whatever, get more memory, get an SLI, if there are 3D Blu-Ray or anything Optical Drive thats new I'll get that since my case has 4 slots, and get another HDD, THEN it should last another 2-4 years. so this build plus upgrades should last me 6-9 years, then I'll be in college OR out of college and get anothe one. This PC would be with me throughout college XD.

Also, an SSD isn't just boot times, it improves system navigation and operation as a whole, but you can always get one later.

That'd be a pain and I know, but i meant it won't affect gaming

If you care about load times then an SSD will be worth it. Skyrim will load pretty much instantly on an SSD

I'm not totally sure about future proof but I know that is a nice build and it's going to last you a few years or so.

Theoretically, there is always room for improvement. I changed some things around, future-proofing is pretty much impossible but there are ways to stay as up to date as possible. By the way, the H100i comes with thermal compound pre-applied, so I removed the extra tube of Arctic Silver. I simply cannot allow someone to try to run a build of this caliber on anything less than a 650w power supply. If you want a 780, so be it. Extra Corsair Static Pressure fans for push/pull. Replaced the HDD for one from a company who we don't receive DOA reports on every few days.

I must let you know that unless you're doing anything that involves serious content creation (doing such things on a frequent basis), then you have no need for an i7 and will not notice any difference in gaming. You could save the $100 and get the i5 4670k and suffer no loss in performance (unless you're involved in content creation).

Not sure if stupid or sarcastic
Im oubviously being sarcastic as I recomend pc builds daily. I know that a 780 is a fantastic card and your processor is great. And to the other person who said im trolling im not trolling im being sarcastic.

Here's my two cents.

The savings add up, that will be same/better performance for a lot less.
Threw in a rather good 80+ Platinum 650w PSU, SSD performs the same/close to.
GPU has slightly faster clock speed and good cooling as well.
Saw the GA-Z87X-OC on sale 50$ less then regular price so I decided to throw that in.

Lol alright thanks. I know nothing of storage but i meant to get that HDD, lol. all my smarts are with GFX, CPU, RAM, and MOBO somewhat.. I'll look into the i5 I just don't wanna have to upgrade later on the processor. The case already has 4 fans as well.
