Genre: Wrestling
Release Date: Nov 14, 2006
Developers: Yukes
Publishers: THQ
Age rating: T
Modes: Single player, multiplayer, multiplayer online
Console(s): PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, Xbox 360

Synopsis
What SmackDown! vs. RAW 2007 improves isn't necessarily what the series actually needed to improve, but on its own merits, it's still a great wrestling game.

Gameplay
This the first WWE game to be released on Xbox 360. There are many new additions to the game. You can target other's wrestler's bodies. Such as fingers, arms, and legs. There is a story mode. You can create your own wrestler. You can have fun with that; however, you can also create your own titles , entrances , and add fireworks. However, if you don't want to use these wrestler just use regular one. The Rock , Bret Hart, and Hulk Hogan for example The online is horrible. THQ has shut down the server's but you can make a private server and invite your friends..
Graphics

The graphics are good for this game especially since it was released in 2006. I love the menu and the writing is nice to look at it. The detail of the wrestling ring and the environments such as the fans and back stage looks great, but the detail to all the wrestler's looked ok. This game did come out in 2006. The appearance of the wrestlers is not fully realistic. THQ has improved in future Wrestling games.

Controls
The Momentum Meters & the Damage Meters return in SmackDown vs. Raw 2007 and both of them are contributors to the gameplay . You can perform many Wrestling Moves or taunts to build up your Momentum Meter. When it becomes full , you can perform a Finishing Move, which does a lot of gruesome damage to you opponent. If you are a veteran, with these types of wrestling games then you should have no problem with the controls. You press x to punch, b to throw them , and y to do a finisher. These controls are simple and easy to use and if you don't know them well look the up online.

Madden 08
Release Date: Aug 17 2007
Developers: EA Tiburon, Exient Entertainment
Publishers: EA Sports
Platforms:PS2, PS3, Playstation Portable, DS, Xbox 360, Wii, Windows, GameCube, Mac OS X
Genre: Sports

Synopsis
Madden NFL 08 is the 2008 edition of the American football video game series published by EA Sports and developed by EA Tiburon. It is the 19th installment in the Madden NFL video game franchise. It features the former Titans star quarterback Vince Young on the cover. San Diego Chargers defensive end Luis Castillo was the cover athlete for the Spanish-language version. This was the first Madden game released (on August 14, 2007) for ten different platforms; including Xbox 360, Wii, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, Nintendo DS, PlayStation Portable, Xbox, Nintendo GameCube, and PC. This is the last version of Madden to be released for the PC, and Madden NFL 08 would also eventually become the last GameCube game produced and released in North America.EA and Apple Inc. had announced in June 2007 that a version for Mac OS X would be released at the same time as the other versions.[1] After the August 14 release date came and went without a Mac release, however, EA said it would be delayed until September or October 2007.[2] A Spanish-language version of the game was released on December 11, 2007 for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox 360 platforms.[3] As of December 13, 2007, the Xbox 360 version has sold 1,069,576 copies in the United States.Madden NFL 08 has sold 4.5 million copies.[5] It is also the last of the games in the Madden series to include all 6 NFL Europa teams.

Gameplay
Playing by yourself in Madden 08 is really fun. You can choose any team you want as your team and any team you want to play. In this Madden game it's no longer an animation, the player has way more control of the player than the previous ones. The new animation system added one hand catches, in air collisions, dog piling and lots more. You can do play offs and try to win it all! In multiplayer it can be very challenging and very easy, it's just based on the player you get. If you get a good player make sure you choose the best team your good with, if your versing a easy player give him a chance. Every tackle and every play is a thrill and keeps you in suspense when playing. Really fun overall, good for a relaxing game.

Controls
The Controls in Madden 08 are fantastic. Every move makes perfect sense and in the right position. From X to snap the ball from the CPU or the player that your versing. If your on Offense, Defense, Passing/Recieving, blocking, kicking and snapping the ball it all has its own controls. If you have seen my other reviews I usually dislike how a button has more than one controls, well in this game I actually understand why it has multiple controls and I actually understand it. Overall controls are perfect maybe just some improvements but barley at all needed.

Graphics
As you know this game was made in 2008 so graphics aren't as good as they are now. Graphics in this have had a huge improvement since Madden 2007. As I said they added a new animation system, well that animation system did it all. Every thing it added was right. When you tackle another player it won't go all bumpy or sharp it's all smoothly laid out. When your doing a passing play the ball is even detailed. All details like getting wet during rain and muddy is just right. Overall details and graphics are amazing, few improvements here and there, but not much touches needed.

Game Information
Name: NHL 14
Genre: Sports
Release Date: September 10, 2013
Developers: EA Canada
Publishers: EA Sports
Age rating: E
Modes: Single-player, Multiplayer, Online multiplayer
Console(s): PlayStation 3, Xbox 360

Synopsis
NHL 14 lets players enjoy an authentic hockey experience using the technology from EA Sports' various titles.

Gameplay
A lot of people are talking down on 94' mode but I love it. Player speed is increased as well as the intensity of hits. It is a great way to take a break from the normal mode. And the presentation is what celebrates 94', all the way down to the retro goal horn. EASHL matchmaking is also improved. You pick a position while waiting in the lobby rather than having a mad dash for forward spots once everyone has readied up. This means less quitting before the game starts. Also, skater boosts are now in increments of 3,5, and 7 rather than the previous 1,3, and 5 set up. Last thing, for those who play Hockey Ultimate, this year you earn pucks no matter what game mode you are playing.

Graphics
There are also graphical glitches all over the place in the cut scenes. Such as a player going back to the bench and hes standing right beside the coach behind other players, jittery players, sticks missing, etc... if you've played the series for a few years, lots of little tweaks, the menus seem a little less buggy and also seem a bit faster which is a plus; EASHL Drop-in game menus have been updated, you now select your position before you ready up, it has REALLY slowed down lobbies, but has increased the number of games that people will stick around for.

Controls
Controls are similar to previous years. Some moves are powerful such as poke checking. You can control all the shots, strides, and drop downs. There is basic buttons in the 1994 mode. There are a lot of overpowered moves sometimes when I try to take a shot I have trouble. Thats probably just me or my controller. Defensive men are very tough. The skating is very good still. It increases your momentum. Because of the goalies the net gets knocked off.

Star Fox 64

Game Information
Release Date: July 1, 1997 (NA)
Developed By: Nintendo EAD
Publisher: Nintendo
Platform: Nintendo 64
Genre: Action/ Rail shooter

Synopsis (Wikipedia)

Star Fox 64 is set on a group of planets in the Lylat System. Ingenious scientist Andross, a native of the fourth planet Corneria, is driven to madness and nearly destroys the planet using biological weapons. For Andross' treason, General Pepper exiles the scientist to the remote planet Venom. Five years after Andross' exile, Pepper discovers an unknown activity in Venom.[4] Pepper hires the Star Fox team (consisting of James McCloud, Peppy Hare, and Pigma Dengar) to investigate. After arriving at Venom, Pigma betrays the team and causes James and Peppy to be captured by Andross. At the cost of his own life, James allows Peppy to escape and tell James' son, Fox McCloud about his father's fate.

The team eventually invades Venom, where Fox defeats Andross, only to find that it is a false, robotic version of himself.[6] He destroys it and returns to Corneria, leaving Andross in Venom. Fox eventually decides to confront Andross one more time, along with Star Wolf. Fox defeats Andross, who reveals his true form, a floating brain with two floating eyes.[7] After defeating the brain, James appears and shows Fox the way out. When he narrowly escapes, they return to Corneria for a victory celebration. When offered membership into the Cornerian Army, Fox declines on behalf of his team; saying "Oh no, sir. We prefer doing things our own way".[8] The game ends with the Great Fox and the Star Fox team flying off in their Arwings into the skies.[9]

In a post credits scene, General Pepper receives a bill from Star Fox which presents the number of enemies killed and multiplies it by 64, resulting in the amount of money due. If the price is below $70,000 (1,093 or fewer enemies killed) he will say, "This is one steep bill....but it's worth it." If the price is over $70,000 (1,094 or more), he says, in a rather shocked tone, "What?!" Pepper will choke if the bill reaches $100,000.[10] At this point, the player presses a button to stamp the bill, thus bringing the player back to the main menu.

Gameplay

Single-player

The game is completely played through the perspective of Fox McCloud in his Arwing spaceship. The gameplay type is referred to as "corridor mode" which means you are flying straight forward, but through a mixed environment. Something I always find interesting is the phrase "do a barrel roll" is from this game and one of the supporting characters shouts this because whilst flying, you can dodge using a barrel roll.

There are numerous power ups available for pickup including shield repair, wing or ship repair, laser boosters, and occasionally an extra life. "Wingmen" are the supporting characters who fly beside you while you are fighting. If they receive too much damage, they will retreat and become unavailable for the remainder of the mission. These wingmen include Slippy Toad (scans ship's shields), Peppy Hare (gameplay advice), and Falco Lombardi (alternative routes).

Alternative routes can be taken throughout missions and are unlocked by completing certain objectives such as defeating bosses or beating a level in a certain amount of time. In the end, you come in contact with the rival Star Wolf Team and then the main boss, Andross.

Multiplayer

Multiplayer is only local and consists of four split-screen players competing together. There are three modes within the multiplayer aspect: battle royale - last man standing, time trial - destroy enemies, and point match - shoot down an opponent a certain number of times.

Graphics

The graphics are definitely vintage in my opinion since the game is for the N64. However I love that about it! I really enjoy switching from xbox 360 to N64 any chance I get. Granted though the graphics are vintage that is a setback for some people who dislike "bad" graphics and I don't blame you for that, I just love it. For the time, these graphics are stellar.

Controls

The controls are pretty standard for an N64 game. You do have to be somewhat used to the controller because if you are unaware, the control stick is in the middle and as I look at my controller right now, the a and b buttons are in odd positions when compared to an xbox or playstation one. Overall, the controls are easy but the controller itself is hard to get used to.

Rating

8.8/10

I recommend to anyone with an N64 and good taste in video games.

Smackdown VS. Raw 2008

Game Information

Name: Smackdown VS. Raw 2008
Genre: Professional Wrestling
Release Date: November 13, 2007
Developers: Yukes
Publishers: THQ,
Age rating: T
Modes: Single-player, Multiplayer, Multiplayer online
Console(s): PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, Nintendo DS, Wii, Xbox 360, Mobile

Synopsis

With little notable improvement to the formula and steps backward in several key areas, SmackDown! vs. RAW 2008 is a big disappointment.

Gameplay
There are the story mode which is good at first but it get boring afterwards because the story keep on repeating after you complete WrestleMania. The GM mode is hard and really boring, it took me a long time to get 100%, i never get to 100% though. There are many arenas from raw to ecw and arenas from WWE PPV like Summerslam. There are also many match type like Hardcore, Hell in a cell, Money in the bank, etc. The rosters for this game are small, about 40 wrestlers only. I am kind of mad that they didn't include Hulk Hogan; sure there is Stone Cold and The Rock. There isn't much people online playing this game, not to mention now, of course there will be fewer.

Graphics

The graphics for this game is great. The arena, crowds, lighting and especially the wrestlers appearance are very detail, you can see sweats and bloods on their body during a match. The sounds for this game arent really that good. The crowd chant is great though, like when you are playing as the undertaker, the crowd would cheer "Taker! Taker! Taker!.....". The commentary on the other hand is dull; you probably have heard the same line again after sometimes.

Controls

The gameplay for this game is very easy, you use analog sticks for grappling and moving around, trigger for reversal and buttons for finishers, striking, getting in and out of the ring and picking up object. In SvR 08, you can interact with the crowds by cheering with them and you can also grab objects from them to hit your opponent. There is also much more things to do outside the ring. It is really easy to beat your opponent even on legend difficulties. Speaking of legends, there is also a hall of fame mode which you can attempt to rewrite some of the greats moments in WWE/F history. By beating a hall of fame, you can get to unlock arenas and legends which you can use in a match. In order to get to use the legends, you need to earn money by playing the story mode, and then you can go to the WWE shop to purchase legends, championship belts and other stuffs.

Game Information

Name: Temple Run 2
Genre: Platform
Release Date: November 13, 2007
Developers: Imangi Studios
Publishers: Imangi Studios
Age rating: E
Modes: Single-player
Console(s): iOS, Android

Synopsis

The much-anticipated sequel from Imangi Studios, Temple Run 2, is here and looks set to outdo its predecessor fairly rapidly, having reached a staggering 50 million downloads during its opening 13 days on sale.

Gameplay
Temple Run 2 is fun. You have to control your character. While you are running, you must collect coins. This allows you to buy special abilities. With these abilities you can have an advantage. However, you can also buy coins but I dont recommend doing that unless you jailbroke your phone. Your character must jump over obstacles in order to live. Your character can us the rope to get you across. When you enter the cave you get in a little wagon and must control it goes and you cant fall out. There have been gameplay improvements from the original game.
Graphics
Graphics have grown better a little. The character looks more realistic. I like the setting of where your running. It looks like a real place. I also love the new environment and that the fact you can resurrect your character when he dies or right after you miss a step and fall to you doom, "Save Me". Imangi Studios improved Temple Run in a whole different level especially by introducing new characters. The ropes that help you look great. The coins become different colors. There are 3 different colors red, blue, and gold.

Controls

This game has controls used by your fingers so the controls might be frustrating to some people but Im not complaining about it. This is a great game and has a great all new level to it. You have to move your phone left and right to stay on the surface or else you will fall to your death. He controls are also used for the wagon. Sometimes I mess up and slide off the trail. You can also use the controls to jump, move and slide under. They are pretty simple controls. Exactly like the original Temple Run. Therefore, if you know how to play the first one this will come easy to you.

The Last of Us

Game Information
Name: The Last of Us
Genre: Action-adventure, survival horror
Release Date: June 14, 2013
Developers: SCEA
Publishers: Naughty Dog
Age rating: M
Modes: Single-player, multiplayer
Console(s): PlayStation 3

Synopsis

The Last of Us takes place in the United States, twenty years after a spore-based infection rapidly spread across the globe, wiping out a vast majority of the population by warping its hosts brains and turning them into deadly predators capable of killing with a single bite. The majority of the worlds population has been reduced to either struggling survivors or ravenous infected mutants. The game features several locations across the United States, including Boston and Lincoln, Massachusetts, Pittsburgh, and Salt Lake City, Utah.

Gameplay

A very interesting aspect of this game is how it managed to blend gameplay and story together in several ways I have never experienced. Most games simply have gameplay that will then transition smoothly into a cutscene or a quick-time event. While this game did a lot of that, it did a few other things I'd never seen. For example, vaulting over objects and boosting followers up ledges became a routine mechanic in the game but at one point a character refuses to comply with the boost because they are traumatized over something that happened. It puts you immediately into the shoes of the character and literally uses a familiar mechanic to further character growth.

Graphics

The best picture that any console can produce so far. Beautiful visuals, animations, lightning, effects, and what is important, everything looks very real. Cutscenes are another thing to say, the best work i have ever seen, they look unbelievably real. No words. Voice acting is brilliant, it is so professionally acted, and there are moments where was shocked. Troy Baker as Joel and Ashley Johnson as Ellie made main protagonists very likeable and I wanted this whole thing to never end. Nolan North was a big surprise by the way, he is hell of an actor, but Troy touched my feelings most. About soundtrack, i vote The Last of Us OST as the best OST any game ever had. Gustavo Santaolalla made a masterpiece work here. Only main theme deserves a damn game Oscar, although I keep listening entire OST almost every day still. But the crowning achievement in this game is exactly what it is hyped for... the characters and the story.

Controls
I find myself mashing the melee button when the computer negates stealth altogether and forces you to use open combat, when Im surrounded by enemies, cause its more practical and efficient to do so. apart from a quite a few annoying aspects it does hold this game back too much, but then again with the bad points I have just mentioned it does really break my immersion and enjoyment when there all in the same game.

Game Information

Genre: Sports
Release Date: August 12, 2008
Developers: EA Tiburon
Publishers: EA Sports
Age rating: RP
Modes: Single-player, multiplayer
Console(s): Xbox, Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Wii, Nintendo DS

Synopsis
he most recognizable franchise in video game sports returns for a 20th season of gridiron action in Madden NFL 09. The constant tweaking of the series continues as well, with the "09" entry unveiling an assortment of new features and updated graphics and animation. Chief among the new offline features is the Adaptive Difficulty Engine, which determines players' "Madden IQ" by judging their ability to run, pass, and defend. The game then offers players the chance to compete in the four standard difficulty levels, or the new custom "My Skill" difficulty level specifically tailored to their play style. The My Skill difficulty level adjusts after every game, and players can enter the Tron-esque Virtual Trainer to increase their proficiency in any particular area.
Gameplay

The meat of the game, it's great. The animations are very good, the controls are very easy to pick up, and they are mapped onto the controller perfectly, so there will be no customization necessary. A new feature is the 'Super-Sim;, which allows the player to simulate either one play, one quarter, the whole game, or until the next change of possession. I think this is great because if you want then you only have to play offense or defense, or if you are winning then you can simulate the rest of the game. The game modes are all very good as well, in my opinion. The main gameplay modes are 'Franchise', which allows the player to take control of a football organization for up to 30 years and manage every aspect of it, and 'Superstar', in which you guide a young player through his career, from his rookie year to his retirement, and see if you can get him into the Pro Football Hall Of Fame. In superstar mode, when your player is on the field, you can only control him, and the camera changes to go right behind him, and it is all done very, very well. There are many other things that I could talk about, but i will just leave in there. There are many, many more game modes, and the game well keep you oppucpied for well over 70 hours in my opinion, probably edging on 100 if you play it a fair bit more often. There is the Tournament, Mini-Camp, the new Skills Drills, Fantasy Challenge, Single Match, Season, 2 Minute Drills, and many, many more game modes. There are also a whole lot of customization features, including create-A-team, create-a-player, create-a-fan, and create-a-playbook.

Graphics
The graphics incredible, but because they are about as good as you can get on the Playstation 2 Console. Animations are realistic, you can see the water spray off the field when it is wet, and it just generally looks very good. While all of the gameplay sounds are great, the hits, the running, and the cheering, the commentary is terrible. John Madden is just infuriating to listen to, exaggerating EVERYTHING and it just gets so repetitive, so quickly. I have read that his commentary has only been held onto in the PS2 version of the game due to memory restrictions on the console.

Controls
Controls are easy to pick up. His game is similar to Madden 08. So if you played that years game it should easy for you. Sometimes I hit the wrong button when throwing to a receiver. You can use the controls to see your play that you selected. It helps when you forget the play. You can use it to change your play after choosing it. With the analog sticks you can move around your player. This includes switching between players.

Genre: Shooter
Platforms: Windows PC, Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony Playstation 3
Graphics Engine: KryEngine 3
Director: Cevat Yerli
Writer: Steven Hall

Plot
The story starts 24 years after the events of Crysis 2, Prophet's personality and memories stored in Nanosuit absorbed with Alcatraz's body along with Alcatraz's memories. Prophet knows that he died by shooting himself and is now back from the memories stored in the Nanosuit. Joining with Psycho, his team mate from the original Crysis and a team of elite Nanosuit soldiers, he travels around the world looking for the Alpha Ceph, the ultimate Ceph leader, from the knowledge he gained about Ceph. One by one his teammates lose interest in the hunt believing that all Ceph are destroyed, until Prophet and Psycho finally trace the Alpha Ceph in Russia and imprison it. But, shortly afterwards, CELL, now in search for global domination of land and technology, disable Prophet using EMP weapons in Siberia, captures all the remaining Nanosuit soldiers, and start skinning them of their suits so as to learn or recover the Ceph genetics stored in them. Everyone involved in the Nanosuit program were either recruited or detained by CELL, including Scientists Nathan Gould from Crysis 2 and Claire Fontanelli. However, CELL runs out of Nanosuit soldiers to skin for alien material that integrated with their suits, so they transfer Prophet to the facility as requested, to skin him. Locked in a storage device with powerful EMP shocks to keep him dormant, Prophet is transported to New York, now encased within a giant Nanodome by CELL.

Setting
You start by taking on the role of Prophet as he returns to New York in 2047, 24 years after the events of Crysis 2. He discovers the city has been encased in a giant Nanodome created by the corrupt CELL corporation. The New York City Liberty Dome is a veritable urban rainforest teeming with overgrown trees, dense swamplands and raging rivers. Within the Liberty Dome, seven distinct and treacherous environments become known as the Seven Wonders. Prophet is said to be on a revenge mission after uncovering the truth behind CELL's motives for building the quarantined Nanodomes. The citizens were told that the giant citywide structures were erected to protect the population and to clean these metropolises of the remains of the Ceph forces.

Graphics
The graphics inside Crysis 3 are truly amazing, probably up in the top 3 for detail and correct structure. This ovbiously has something to do with the graphics engine used, which is the 3rd version of KryTeks KryEngine, KryEngine 3. I would honestly compare it to the Frostbite engine used by DICE that makers of the world famous Battlefield series. The structure of the scenery is truly fantastic and so real you would think of it as a film, not a game. I mean personally i thought the intro was a type of film, as i got lured into it more i thought to myself, this game cannot keep this amount detail when playing, but my god it does. Here are some pictures from Crysis 3...

Synopsis
Many users have been asking to bring back the old Runescape. Well now you can relive it. This old version can bring back memories and can make you happy.

Gameplay
When I first played this game I thought I knew everything, only to find that once I took a break or lost interest for a time I would find myself rushing back to discover a totally new game. The game updates often, almost weekly. Instead of releasing huge packs they release their content quest by quest, graphic update by game mechanic update. It is enough to keep you interested but not large enough to swamp you. Jagex is fairly interactive and it's mods are often patrolling the game and having fun just like you. The game has hundreds of hours of entertainment. Quests in this game a by far its finest aspect. Instead of the "kill 10 zombies" or "go to Joe" quest progression that plagued BBMMOs RuneScape has extensive quests filled with puzzles, riddles, and trials that actually make you feel accomplished, especially when it results in openings of areas, crafting, and combat mechanics. Quest have requirements other than just base level and several quest series exist, each more engaging than the next. The quest system is flawless in its execution

Graphics
I am only going to cover graphics briefly, as I think it is rather useless to review a game by it. Graphics are rapidly improving, but still behind other major MMOs like WOW or LotRO. But what do you expect with a game with no download run entirely on JAVA, which almost all computers can use. The game kind of looks like a quilt, some part of the game have not been as graphically updated as others, which can result in an odd transition from place to place. Overall, the game graphics can please those who do not rate graphics highly, but still low end enough to get hate by those who think realistic people and environments are the selling point.

Controls
Controls are very simple. You can use the arrow keys to move your character. O you can press wherever you want on the mini map to move. However, you can also teleport with a click. If you left click you on another person, you can see what level they are and their character name. You can talk to other using you letters on the keyboard. There is not much to say about the controls because they are very simple.
