Synopsis
Create your own levels, and race on-line with friends.

Gameplay
Platform Racing 2 is a two dimensional on-line foot racing game where players have to race against other players, avoiding obstacles and using items to get to the finish line first. There are two different features which players can use which are racing and level building. Racing can be done on set levels made permanent by the server owner or by levels made by friends. Up to four players can race on one level at one time to win new appearances for their characters and for experience points. During races, items can be acquired including speed boosts, jetpacks, laser guns, lightening strikes and mines to help the player and slow down the opponents. When players finish a race, they are awarded experience points, for finishing the race, for beating opponents and the points can be affected by hats worn by the racer. When players gain enough experience points, they level up to the next level and earn a point which can increase either the acceleration, speed or jumping skills. There are over twenty blocks available for players to create their own levels to race on with friends and strangers. If players create good enough levels, the created level can be voted on by the community and brought onto a top daily level tab where many more players have to opportunity to play their level. When players win specific levels or play the game on certain sites, they can unlock new hats which give players different abilities.

Graphics
Platform Racing 2 is a two-dimensional game with bright colours but very simple graphics. The game runs on Adobe Flash player so it obviously does not have the best graphics in the world, but for a simple platformer, the graphics are just fine. When creating a level, players have the options to create their own backgrounds and drawings which if enough effort is put into the work, can look amazing. The graphics are very smooth although there are some small glitches which most players on the game know how to use to their advantage. Overall the graphics do not hinder gameplay and the game runs just fine.



Controls
The controls on Platform Racing 2 are extremely simple and any gamer, experienced or new to gaming should be able to learn the few controls in a few minutes. The racer is easy to control and all items are very simple to active. The racer is controlled using the arrow keys and all items are used by hitting the space bar. That is all there is to the controls and they are very simple, maybe even too simple.
