How do you feel about high frequencies? If you are fine with a lot of it, Ultrasone PRO900, if not, v-moda M100

I believe they're SMS or something like that, and no, not worth it.

Hey r00t can I get your opinion on the Philips SHL5205BK/10 CitiScape Headphones?

I'm looking for some cheap good quality of head, headphones for my brother he's a teen and cares a bit about the looks aswell and these seems to be the other one I can find that are aesthetically pleasing (atleast to me). If you have any better ideas please let me know I'm looking for something around <30 GBP and plus he listens to alot of metal so I assume he will need a more neutral pair of headphones. Cheers!

Would you be able to pay 10 quid more? If so, these are great: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

The Philips you mentioned sound quite muffled and disheartening to listen to metal with because they sound so lackadaisical.

For CM7, the HD598 probably wouldn't be that great for dubstep. Even if it's not actual dubstep and is mostly lower midrange, it's still not as quick as I want a headphone for electronic to be. And the amp was probably a bad idea.

Budget: 150-170$

Music preferences: Hip Hop, Rap, Alot of vocal songs.

Type/form-factor: Over Ear.

Open or closed: Closed

Listening from: Phone, MP3, Anything really. I need portable headphones really, but having long cords, or something won't be a problem. If you can recommend a headphone for my studio also? (Hip hop, Rap)

Details: I'm thinking about the Audio Technicas ATH-M50 Limited edition, Which on amazon is 150$ right now. I'm just aiming for something with good quality, and has some style to it. Would you recommend those Audio Technicas? Thanks.

Budget: 50 usd
Type: Earbuds
Music: rap/rock
Closed if possible
Listening from a iPod touch
Details: I need very portable headphones. I blow out headphones really fast because I listen really loud. So if there are any really reliable loud ones that would be great if not I'll just listen quieter. I also need really good sound isolation for loud cafeterias and hallways.
