So my friend bought resident evil 5 remastered and he is homed with me and it still says pre-order. I also signed into his account on my xbox to download it and it says pre-order. But he has it downloaded on his xbox. Anyone know what's going on?

Doesn't the Home xBox not only work for the account that has selected the xBox as its home xBox? So, in other words: I think the problem lies in that your friend downloaded the game, whereas your account (and not his) have the xBox marked as the home xBox. I am not sure, though. This is just a wild guess.

EDIT: The problem might also be that he downloaded it on his xBox and not on yours. Because that xBox has not been marked as a Home xBox, the game was not shared with you. It does not magically appear on other xBoxes either from what I understand.

So i was having the same issue it turns out that theres a known bug with the new xbox preview program update which causes any game bought after the update to be unshareable. The only way to fix it is if both xboxes have the new update downloaded.
