Being as the some of the acts preforming next year have been announced mainly Slaves and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Just curious about what it is like from those of you who have attended in previous years.

As I'm thinking about traveling over from Ireland to go.

I`d recommend going to a different/bigger/better festival if you`re travelling over from Ireland for it.

Last year lineup looked okay
But it all depends what type of music your into

You could try Glastonbury (biggest music festival in the world) but it's to much something like £210 for a day ticket

reading/leeds festival is quite big mate , plus Ireland isn't that far from England
just over 1 hour flight from dublin to Heathrow , London
then from London to reading is 22 miles

Reading was metal last year. It's such a dirty festival. Quite a lot of young kids there though. But the mosh pits in the tents and the headliners are always great. You could maybe wait for Glastonbury resale tickets first then buy Reading tickets if you don't get them. Glastonbury is on another level compared to anything. Already have my tickets. Both festivals are extremely different.

It's £235 for Wednesday to Monday.

I checked earlier for Reading and it seemed to be about £215 for tickets. Last year the line up was full of metal bands, but you can never tell what it will be like this year. If you're intent of seeing the bands you mentioned and maybe have a few friends interested too, go for it!
You might want to see what the full line up is going to be first, but I'd go for it if the atmosphere is anything like last year
