I'm using my old router (Dlinks) because my newer one (Cisco Linksys) Is having problems again. Nat issues, Connection problems, being stupid.

On both of my 360's the connection is always a 1 bar. It NEVER moves. I can't connect to games I can only join session or have someone else be party leader. My nats open on both consoles. My connection is not shitty.

The connection is SO bad I can't even get a kill.

this happens with me, but i have found a simple solution.

i assume you use your laptop whilst on xbox?

if you do, simply flick the wireless switch so it is off on the laptop, that way, background tasks which use the internet aren't running and it boosts your connection.

is your router downstairs by and chance any your 360 upstairs? If so the signal may be getting blocked hence why you have poor connection, try moving your xbox downstairs and try it there to say if it lags.

yours is better than mine and I get all bars :S

The only thing I could properly think of is if your wired from xbox to your broadband or wireless.
Wired=Better than wireless.

Routers in the room beside mine. All 3 computers are within a room. And the 2 xbox's

2 computers + 2 Xboxs connected via Ethernet and then my laptop is wireless.

Ok, It's your router then.
I would try and get a new one because the other one isn't working as well.

I have 3. 2 are broken and the one I'm on makes my xbox connection SLOW.
