Hi!

I thought i might add a little review of my new IEMs i use to record and listen with. If you are in the market for new ones, for recording or listening, check this out!

--------REASONS TO BUY-------------------------------------------------------------
The reasons i went for these (i researched for almost 4 months) are simple. Shure backs every pair with a 3 year full warranty. It has amazing reviews. It is DURABLE (i break lots of mine) and has INCREDIBLE ambient noise reduction.
I have my reasons for buying it, but above all, if you just BREAK EVERY pair of headphones you come across, you'll want these. They include the most amazing feature-detachable cables
for you, this means for less than 30 dollars, you can EASILY replace these if you somehow manage to break them.
And best of all- they are only 100 dollars.

-------ABOUT SHURE-----------------------------------------------------------------
By Shure, they are the SE215s. Not their highest end model. Shure is a german company, and has been making Audio products since 1928.
Ill be reviewing the CLEAR version.

---------FIRST LOOKS AND DURABILITY------------------------------------------------
At first glance, they look very much like any other pair, a 64 inch wire, your standard gold-plated 3.5mm jack, etc. But when you first pick them up, its incredible. The wires (which, according to shure, are KEVLAR reinforced) feel like a line of twine, but still maintaining the flexibility. They feel indestructible. They block up to 37 decibels of ambient noise. when someones talking, you just WONT hear them. If you clap, you wont hear it. If you close a door, you wont hear it. Its amazing.

-----------AUDIO QUALITY-----------------------------------------------------------
Now, onto audio quality. Due to the acoustic seal provided by Shures foam eartips (think: memory foam) it creates an AMAZING environment for bass. If you listen to deep, low end bass, you will love these. The highs are crisp, the lows are clear. In testing, it handles my deepest songs with ease, while allowing highs to remain clear and crisp. Breakdowns, bass drops, you name it, this pair can handle it.

----------ONE COMPLAINT------------------------------------------------------------
I just had one complaint, they are pretty difficult to put on and take off. You'll get used to it, don't get me wrong, but you'll have some trouble at first.

----------SUMMARY------------------------------------------------------------------
All in all, Shures lowest of its 4 tiers of IEMs (see below for the others) is a great bargain, and with its wide range of handling, the replaceable cables, noise canceling, its a GREAT choice for the price.

I recommend you to buy them from a website called sweetwater. They are by far the most responsive, customized service ive ever gotten in an online purchase. They assign a personal representative to answer your questions with every purchase! (and you get candy!)
