Right now I'm into Matt mays & Sam Roberts.
I love them both because they've got a classic rock sound to them but it's new. IMO their lyrics are amazing & they're songs are always very fun.

Reason: He has been around pretty long and is still going; maybe not so much of every one of his new songs, but he still makes good music

My favorite band: Pink Floyd
Why? Most people think of Pink Floyd as another psychedelic band, which in some cases are true. But if you take a step further, their music really does bring you to another world. I do not use drugs, although I have in the past, and when listening to a Pink Floyd song, or album it has different effects on you high, or sober. Pink Floyd has been around for years and personally their better work was from 1971-1994. After their original singer Syd Barrett, left the band they turned into an amazing band! You can feel the emotions in everyone of their songs. You can relate to their simple, and complex lyrics. Their futuristic, space like sounds really leave you in amazement! And if you were ever lucky enough to go to one of their concerts/ laser shows, you know exactly what a Pink Floyd experience is! Their greatest album is The Dark Side of The Moon, then followed by Wish You Were Here, The Division Bell, The Wall, and Meddle. I'll agree their sound is not for everyone, maybe because people don't like rock, or the hypnotic sounds, but you cannot knock it before you try it. And if you are a rock fan, or you're looking for something new, Pink Floyd is exactly what you need! I've loved them since I was 3, and I will never stop loving them!

Nujabes - His music is calming, soothing, good music to listen to when you just want to relax. He also did all of the music in Samurai Champloo (One of my favorite animes).
