I've never had problems with it before, but the led just started blinking red and shut down and gave me the message. I waited for the light to stop blinking, then turned my xbox on again. It lasted for a minute and did the same thing. Is there any fix for this? Please help.

It was only 1. The Insuffient Ventilation error. Look it up. I let it cool down but it keeps doing it still.

Is there anything blocking any of the vent holes at all?

No, it is in an open space. It always has been. I changed the position so it is standing up now, just to help the vents. The last time it did the red light thing the fans in my xbox came on and blew a whole bunch of dust out though.

Ok I would go buy an Air in a Can and spray inside the holes to get the dust out because that is more and likely messing it up. When your using the air in a can DO NOT shake it or use it for more than 20 seconds at a time because it will get very cold and can either freeze some of your xbox components and damage them(happened to my tv before) or the can will explode in your hand from the the pressure. If that doesn't work the vent fan might have come a little undone inside or just completely broke and you will have to send it in to Microsoft or take the xbox apart and reconnect it or buy new fans and install but only if you are 100% sure you know what your doing.

That's pretty much all you can do though, other than buying a cooling fan if it's a constant problem.

you forgot about the part of don't spray it extremely close to the area. If you spray it too close it'll cause condensation and a freeze spot so don't spray too close.

Oh yeah thank you for reminding me. You want to spray about 5-8 inches away from the xbox vents

Well the last time my xbox did that my fans turned on in my xbox and blew it 2 huge puffs of dust. I haven't had a problem so far.
