i have used a heat gun to reflow my xbox before. what i did was took some tinfoil and wrapped it over everything but the chip(s) i was reflowing. After i had done that i put the gun on the low setting held it 6-8 inches away from the board and made small circles NEVER STOPPING TO MOVE across everything i was reflowing. After about 5 minutes i put it on the high setting and did the same motions for about a minute. I let it sit for about 45minutes to an hour then i was done. It worked for me, maybe it will work for you!

heatgun it at your own risk, it will more than likely damage the board permanently especially without a preheater -the board will warp

send in to a pro!
