Please read this all entirely i don't need help!

This Happened to me Yesterday:
Someone was trying to recover my account to systemlink it for me
he tried multiple times but it stopped near the end all the time.
It gave the error :80150010
I was deeply disappointed because I really wanted to get 10th prestige.
After a few tries we gave up.I went onto my xbox 360 and turned it on to go on COD.
It did not automatically sign me in because i needed to recover it. When
I tried to recover it, it gave me the same error message. My account is big and takes about an hour or two to recover so i tried multiple times to see if it was just my connection. It wasn't and i thought my account was corrupt.
Later I found out a fix.

How to solve this problem:
You have go on your xbox, go to system settings, go to memory, go to gamer profiles and you have to delete ANY account under the same name as the gamertag you are trying to recover. After this you can now recover your account with no hassle.

It does this because every time you recover your account or try to, it makes the old file not work and corrupt and when you try to recover an account the old profile has to be deleted.

I posted this to help others suffering with the same problem I was going to post it yesterday buy i didn't get around to it. This is for the people who don't already know this. I saw another guy who posted asking for help with this- others helped him. This is for people like him all of this is my own information. :-)

Please post, thank or rep if i Helped

either your account was corrupt or you were banned for modding. I would call support and If they ask if it is corrupt. Say you were trying to move your account from one HDD to another and you think somewhere It got messes up. those are my suggestions Hope this helped

Its because your profile was corrupt, so when it was trying to recover it encountered an error.

Your account cant possibly take an hour to recover.

My account has over 400 GPD's added to it and all acheivments unlocked for and it recovers in 5 min.

Slow internet?
