Ok, so im looking to get a second monitor for my desktop.

Here is what I have at the moment.

GFX - HD Radeon 6850

(1) HDMI input [Used]
(2) DVI inputs
And the mobo has an AVI input

Can i get a second monitor and hook it up to the AVI? or does it have to be connected to my gfx card?

I dont plan on dual monitoring while gaming. I will work on one, chat, email, etc on the other.

Or play ps3 on one, and have computer open on the other.

Also, should I get 2 of the same size monitors? or does it not matter. Mine is a 22" atm.

It has to be connected to the video card since it's the main video output. AMD cards are able to support 3-4 monitors natively due to their eyefinity technology.
