Well there is mixed opinions on the moon landing weather it was real or fake and there is evidence to support both sides. I, myself will try not to be biased and provide the evidence for both sides that i know.

Evidence for being real -
It went down in history + it was Kennedy's aim to get to the moon before the soviets.
There was an ongoing space race between the USA and the USSR and both had got in to space so it was possible that they actually achieved this.
The videos show them jumping around showing less gravity (may be wrong, this is from my memory)
The USA were advanced technologically for that time
The Flag was supposedly planted on the moon

Of course, there is more evidence but this is all i know.

Evidence for the landing being fake -
Apparently the shadows on the astronaut were being projected from two angles meaning it could have been on a set
A rock has a letter engraved to it, could be a prop?
The USA would not have the money for this due to the nuclear arms race between the USA and the USSR
The USSR was ahead of the USA in the space race at the beginning and Kennedy could have staged it to live up to his promise of reaching the moon before the USSR and the 1970s
Footprints should not have been shown on the moon
The USA winning the moon landing was a major step as it seemed they were now winning the cold war and demoralised the Soviets as they were ahead at the beginning of the space race and slipped behind the USA after that

This is all the evidence i can remember, i will keep editing it an updating it.
Please don't flame this is a subject open for debating not arguing.
I believe its fake but that is my opinion, I am an open minded person and take a lot of interest in conspiracies, most things seem to good to be true.

What do you think?

This might seem like a rather bad explanation but they tested every aspect of the moon landing on Mythbusters and everything came to be false. Proving that they did land on the moon.

OR: That they had a really good set.

Of course they aren't going to admit it on a TV Show. More people would question if it was real or not.

They didn't admit anything, the guys from Mythbusters took the raw footage and analysed it for anything that looked wrong.

They then made a controlled environment in which they could change variables of light, material and the positions of everyone at the time.

For instance, they found that when one of the Astronauts was on the ladder of the Hub he had multiple reflections, after testing they found that It was due to reflections off the surface of the moon. They pretty much disproved the entire conspiracy.

I haven't seen mythbusters, but im guessing they have some strong evidence trying to disprove it but i doubt it will change my mind about the moon landing

The above "evidence" is incorrect. At least part of it is. The foot prints on the moon should have been there, as it is a powdery surface. The foot prints will ALWAYS be there because it is a moon, having no atmosphere so no wind.

I don't think they landed on the moon. Kennedy just wanted to say to the people that we were the first people to land on the moon.

Actually, it would make more sense if he let Russia land first. He took a big risk considering the tension of a possible Nuclear war at the time. By saying they landed first he made Russia look inadequate, this could have been one of many small triggers for a full-scale nuclear war.

But by saying he landed first it made the USSR think the USA was winning the cold war since they were previously losing the space race.
