water and lava would not work.

actually its not impossible you just have to kill yourself a couple times to spawn up there

its not working because you cant place them down too close to spawn

Besides the fact that you don't spawn on the island sometimes, the lava bucket is glitched. When I place it down it appears and disappears and shows nothing in the bucket but if I throw it the lava is back in the bucket but the lava will still not place.
