There wouldn't be enough content to have a section, as there isn't much to discuss. So a section would either be inactive or filled with useless replies, none of which are needed.

Giveaways are against the site rules, so a section to encourage the violation of a rule is a no.
The reason staff can do a giveaway is because staff are trusted, don't say well I am... as it doesn't matter if you are or aren't you wont be doing one.

Quite a good idea, however I think a sticky would do work better than a section as it would all be contained to one place and it would just be another inactive section.

Most members use Xbox so if you're a PS3 member put [PS3] - PS3 etc.. in your topic to show that it's for PS3 as without or, with no stating it on the topic, people will presume it's for xbox.
There is no need for a section when 3-5 characters in your title can do the same if not a better job.

About your last suggestion Tea, maybe if you could get some sort of system where you automatically have to select one or both? Like on S7? It'd be good imo.

The amount of topics in the section about selling players is creeping up again which need to be in the trading section.

I guess if people posted in the trading section people would look there but it ins't used as much as it should be
