How were the pyramids made?

There are many theories as to how the Egyptian pyramids were built. The mainstream theory is that Egyptians took stones from a far away place and somehow did it manually. I like many others do not believe this. I would like to know first how the Egyptians even decided the pyramid shape. Before this time period there were no recordings of pyramids in that region. Another thing I would like to know is why? Why did they build such a magnificent building and yet not use it for more than a burial ground. It doesn't add up. Also how did the Egyptians obtain the stones? They were not from the region. My final point is how on Earth did they make the pyramids so fine edged. In the pyramid there are coffins made of stone that have a lid on then. People who have seen this have tried to fit a piece of paper between the coffin and the lid. It was not possible all around the coffin. Its extrordinay that the Egyptians could make such a fine point but how? Is it probable that they performed these tasks with nothing more than make shift rock tools? Even today it would be near impossible to do this task with just rock tools. What is your opinion? What do you think of the post?

I believe it had to do with extraterrestrials. Pharohs always claimed they were from other planets and have built little models of their supposive solar system. Our telescopes are just now getting good enough to confirm these systems. I believe they have anti-gravity machines to help them move these stones to their locations and to build the pyramids. Mayans and Aztecs are others that have done the same thing. I feel the stones were just too big for people to move. I know they had a ton of people but that wouldn't have mattered for the size of the stones would still be too much. I would also like to know how the rope (or whatever they used to pull them) could withstand that much tension. I would also like to know the ramps they could have used for most things wouldn't have supported that weight. This all points to something with high intelligence and technology. I say extraterrestrials. This is my personal opinion.

There's no stones near there you say? how did they get stones for the pyramids you say?

Before the pyramids there were lots of stones

Now there are not any because they used them all on the pyramid.

fine edge- They were slaves. the Pharaoh made them do it perfectly or they would die.

They wouldnt have built it in a day. it would have taken probably hundreds of years.

It is physicaly IMPOSSIBE to obtain lightspeed and even if so, you could never get from one solar system to the next and LIVE.

Life is so rare its almost impossible it exists.

there are probably aleins out there for sure, but they will Never become in contact with us unless we make some sort of collosal gravitational simulator and bend
time and space. [BENDING THE UNIVERSE IS POSSIBLE]

There was a news report recently that evidence was uncovered that it was not Jewish slaves that built them as the Bible says and that they were payed labourers.
And if you dig up sand in the desert there is plenty of rocks.

Would Egyptians not have had metal tools to craft with? Practise makes perfect, the coffin makers probably did it thousands of times before, and got good at it.
As for there being no rocks, the Egyptian desert is made of sand. Sand is rock eroded over numbers of years, there is rocks in Egypt.

The ancient Egyptians weren't idiots, you say stone tools but they were extremely advanced... In the year 250, the Mayans had obsidian knives hundreds of times more sharper than modern surgical scalpels.
In fact, they even had the name of the architect who designed the pyramids. (Imhotep). Also, 100,000 workers brought up to believe that the Pharaoh was almost a god wouldn't take long to build a pyramid for a Pharaoh in 30 years.

P.S
The pyramid was made of local limestone covered in a thin layer of a reflective rock, and then they covered the cap with gold.
