could i put my ps3 hdd in my usb hdd dock (ment for pc hdds for transfering files) and get file manager patches etc on it (<simple version)

It is all encrypted. You would need to hook up the HDD to a linux computer and enter a code to disable the encryption so you can remove and replace hard drives without re formatting. And much more.

Its easy to think you could, but you will most likely do something wrong and mess up your ps3s hdd

So thats TECHNICALLY a way to host also?
