My Fat PS3 40GB doesn't read games but it does read movies? Can anyone help fix this somehow? Firmware on it is 3.6..... +Rep to whoever helps

PS: Is their a way to downgrade a 3.6 to a 3.55?

if its on 3.6 you probably need to update it

possible bad laser or maybe hardware or disc problem. try clearing all updates and reapplying them
