I am more of a lurker at this point, but felt the need to provide my input here. I've been on this site for a while now, and I don't see this as serving a great purpose. Staff usually ban and/or suspend scammers, often times on their first offense, from what I have seen. This badge is simply unnecessary.

i think more people should get the trusted badge have a staff member see if they are legit and if they are u get a badge

There's way to many people for a badge like that. They wouldn't be able to give it to every single person who scams. Plus, they would need to provide a lot of proof that the person has scammed them.

And you can just buy from trusted sellers.

Or instead of having a scammer badge, the staff can handle the users like they usually do.

Badges aren't given out the users who portray infamy(extremely bad reputation). Badges are given out to users who do the good and proper things that help and make the community better.

Let's say they did have a scammer badge, users would just get flammed for having it, so I have to disagree on this suggestion.

Deffinatly not, a badge is a posotive thing to be achieved. Not for scammers to get. We do not have badges for negative things around here and i cant see there being one any time in the near future. This idea has been suggested multiple times before and rejected everytime. Its a poor idea and a waste of a badge. What i would suggest is in place of the "TTG Senior" "TTG Adict" or whatever maybe they could have a rank called scammer. Just my thoughts, but deffinatly not a badge
