Is this game worth getting?

I Have got reviews from school saying "if you like fallout then you will love this" and "Skyrim is the Game of the year"

So what do you guys think? Is it worth it?

Since I got it I stopped playing BF3 and MW3. Also sold both because im addicted to Skyrim.

Also Bethesda said they plan for DLC but they don't want to rush it because they want it to be good.
